Friday, July 27th, 2007NYC A Cappella welcomes two new clients to the roster:
Mystery Date – a fabulous all male quartet based in NYC that I’ve also had the pleasure of coaching for a few months.
Napa High School – a subset of their main choir, they have a few a cappella groups at the high school level, which is fantastic (high schools need more a cappella groups!).
New Arrangements and Updates
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007It’s been about a month since I last updated NYC A Cappella. I attended Harmony Sweepstakes, the ICCA/ICHSA finals at Lincoln Center, and am preparing for my own a cappella group’s CD release party this JUNE 7th at Crash Mansion in NYC (more details to come in a separate entry). In addition to all of this, I’ve had a ton of arranging to do and have two new clients:
Loose Interpretations – a San Francisco based all female a cappella group.
Skidmore Dynamics, a co-ed group at Skidmore College with “obscene numbers” of fans at their shows!
In addition, I’ve had some great repeat business in the last 6-8 weeks from previous clients, including Undercover, the UMass Dynamics, the Dickinson Syrens, and Ledyard High School Acabellas. I have a few more songs to work on in May and then might have a mini break from arranging in June!

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007From the all-female high school ranks, where I got my a cappella start, the Ledyard High School Acabellas (in neighboring Connecticut) and the Wolfettes from Boston Latin are welcomed as a new NYC A Cappella clients.
