For the minutia of my arranging business, please follow me on Twitter – my handle is, not surprisingly, @nycacappella. I tweet about the world of arranging, ask for advice, offer advice, rant and rave about a cappella in mainstream media, and might post a picture of my dog now and then. I’m also quickly becoming a Twitter stalker of groups like Pentatonix, the winner of this year’s Sing Off on NBC.

I’m super duper, over-the-top, jumping up and down excited to announce that Meredith Strang is joining me at NYC A Cappella as an arranger! Meredith and I met in Treble many years ago and took over as Music Director when I left. She’s a brilliantly talented arranger, musician, and will help me continue to arrange for groups everywhere! Read more about her on the “About” page.

I was recently commissioned to arrange for a full-scale a cappella musical that’s premiering at the Delaware Theatre Company this November and December. It’s called A Cappella Humana, and more information and tickets can be found here. I’m thrilled to be a part of this show as it’s a new avenue for my arranging and has challenged me to arrange for a group that did not exist prior to creating this show. It’s a group of insanely talented singers with a premise all about exploring the human spirit.
