A Cappella Madness in the tri-state area

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Hi everyone – I just wanted the tri-state area folks to know about three upcoming events:

I’ll be judging at the Stamford ICCA Semifinals tomorrow (March 31st), and it’s not too late to get tickets! For more information and how to buy tickets, click here.

The following weekend, on April 7th, I’ll be attending the New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes with some of my friends from The Sirens. I’m coaching a group as they prepare for the fun-filled event, and I have good friends in another group that is competing.

Lastly, on April 21st, I’ll be at the ICCA and ICHSA Finals at Lincoln Center. Tickets are going fast (it sells out every year). April is clearly a month of a cappella craziness.

In other news, I just finished my 12th arrangement for 2007. It’s been a busy year so far and I hope more clients come my way!

March Madness

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

This Saturday, yours truly will be a substitute producer for the ICCA Quarterfinal Show at Wellesley. I haven’t produced these shows in a few years, so I might be a bit rusty, but wish me luck!

I’ve just finished “Goodnight and Go” by Imogen Heap and am now starting “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” from the Disney movie Hercules. I’m doing quite a bit of arranging for my own group, The Sirens, such as cleaning up some old arrangements and adding parts here and there.

On top of that, my CARA votes are due this weekend (I can’t say which categories I’m voting for!), I turned in my first RARB review in nearly 6 years, and it’s safe to say I’m up to my eyeballs in a cappella.
